  • provided services such as WAP (Wireless Applicaiton Protocol)
  • GPRS (General Packet Radio Services)
  • Coloured screen with camera (not all phones)

Third Generation (3G)

  • a whole new network in 21st century
  • IMT-2000
  • UMTS
  • W-CDMA
  • high speed connection
  • internet access
  • video calls
