“Nearly 37% of people over 65 spend ‘all or nearly all’ of their leisure time at home”

From my research, most older people can afford to enjoy their life but there are not enough contents for older people.
“Older users may have a substantial command of income, with children grown up and with mortgages paid off, they can control a significant portion of the country’s wealth, saving and spending power.” (Lee and Kim,2003)
Especially in mobile phone contents area. Mobile phone is not just a device or talking tool anymore now. It is like a personal computer or personality. However most older people use the mobile phone only for ‘talking’ to someone. The reason for this is, ‘the lack of contents for them’.
Mobile phone company only target for younger people (18-25) and that’s why there is no contents that older people can get involve into the ‘mobile world’ even though they’ve got the latest model of mobile phone.
Marketing target is changing now and it has to be changed. They really need the contents for enriching the use of mobile phone and it is fair. Why only younger people has their own contents?
